“On-the-go” food recipes for kids that don’t require any type of cooking?

jfluterpicc_98 asked:

I’m having to come up with a cooking activity for a daycamp that I work at for kids ages 4-12, who also have disabilities. The theme for next week is “Transportation” so I’m thinking that I’d like to have a simple no-cook recipe (as we don’t have a stove or oven) that relates to the theme, or very close to it…such as being “on the go.” Making a trail mix is out as we already did that last week.

Any ideas????

Antony

Hmm…not sure if this relates, but I remember making “mud” when I was a little kid. You get brown jello pudding (could make ahead of time?), and mix it with crushed up oreos and gummy worms…and it looks just like dirt! it was the coolest thing ever back in the day.

The whipped cream cheese sprinkle filled celery boats with carrot diagonally into each boat by pushing the round side of the cheese to make the deli cheese cheddar pepper jack american 12c whipped.
For kids celery boats with the carrot sails stand up.
