Can someone tell me how to transfer all my cooking recipes to my computer ?

I have alot of cook books and wrote down my favorite recipes.I have alot of old recipes that have been passed down in the family.Also have alot of clippings recipes.It takes up alot of room.I want to transfer all of them to my computer.Is this possible without having to buy some sort of program ?Its my first computer and I’m still learning.Thank you to all answers in advance.

   you can type them all into Microsoft Word and put them into files labeled: Main Dish, Sides, Desserts, Appetizers, ect.

   You can easily make a template to type them in to, or use a premade template from Word.
