Laurie asked:
We are getting a GE Profile over the range convection microwave for our new kitchen instead of a regular range. I have never used a convection microwave so any tips or recipes would be appreciated. I will be using it mostly for baking (brownies, cookies, cakes, etc), roasting (chicken), warming, and browning/toasting. Any information is greatly appreciated!

jalapeno10 asked: I need help with finding southern cooking recipes please. I know there are plenty of websites that have them but some seem a bit odd to be from the south. Does anyone have some real, authentic recipes that you know for sure are from the south?
Thanks in advanced,
Jalapeno10
P.S.- I’m asking about this because I need to make a cookbook as an English Project associated with TKAM (To Kill a Mockingbird) By: Harper Lee.

Drahfruida asked: I’m so tired of my usual food choices, and can’t be creative and think of anything besides tacos, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, the usual orginal kind of meals. Its always the same thing, so I’m desperate for exotic culture, like French meals.
If anyone knows of any recipes, it would be greatly appreciated~
Thanks!

little nell asked:
Is it plain or self raising?
From the answers I’m getting I suspect our American cousins are on-line. Do any of you realise that we do not have anything called ‘all purpose flour’ in the UK. We use plain or self raising. This was a genuine question because I went on a recipe site but was confused by this expression. They patently are not inter-usable since one has a raising agent in it and the other does not. Recipes in the UK always state which one to use. And to Sway 27 - there is no call for you to be so rude. I have been baking cakes and pies to prize winning standard for over 40 years. It is a pity you do not realise that the whole world does not march to your tune.

tony e asked:
Recipes credit
I recently was given a few cooking book by different chefs. I have notices a trend that all books do not acknowledge the people who allow their recipes to be published. Is that a normal trend among cooking books? Where can I go and get free to use and publish recipes?
